Could they not just make it mandatory to have windows installed in the garage doors or on the side of the garage?

How long until Trump shows up to throw paper towels at them?

Ice to meet you!

He’s probably loading pictures of his cold canned lunches to his instagram too.

It’s not the best for the springs but its better than having the blades frozen to the windshield and having to break ice chunks off of them. Now if you’re in an ice storm it doesn’t matter because the blades will ice up anyway.

Yup...not being able to seal it once its cut open has always bothered me as well. Apparently people use binder clips or clothespins to hold the bag closed but that just seems like an awful lot of work to get a glass of milk.

LOL....When I say east I mean Ontario ( The centre of the world according to Ontario), Quebec(The french), and the Maritime Provinces. I honestly have no idea why a bag would be more convenient. Only reason I can think of is that you buy one re-usable plastic jug and when you’re done your milk the only waste is a

Oh it’s real and very common on the east side of the country. You buy a plastic jug that the bag fits into, cut the corner of the bag, and away you go. In the west we just use cartons and jugs like normal people.

Agreed. I watched it because it was there. I didn’t think it was that great but I didn’t mind it. I think I convinced myself that it was something it wasn’t. Either way I would probably watch the sequel as well just because it will be there.

It’s all good. We do use the south stereotype to make fun of the US. So many of Canada’s stereotypes come from the east. The bagged milk thing always bugs me I’m 33 and I have never seen milk in a bag.

Its forgiven if you are from a place that almost never sees snow or cold. The only time Ilaugh at these places is when you see the news reports showing barely a sniff of snow on the ground but the entire city is crippled.

Damn...I really wanted to hear how Centigrade and Fahrenheit are different things...

You were correct when you said about. The aboot BS is an Eastern Canadian thing. We speak normally in the West. LOL

You’re probably right about the tax thing. I didn’t even think about that. Where in Eastern Canada did you live?

Guess they want to make sure that there is no more snow falling before plowing. We have snow routes here that get plowed during and after the storm within 16hrs considered category 1 streets. Category 2 streets are plowed within 36 hrs, category 3 in 48hrs and category 4 in a week. Residential streets maybe get plowed

Go on..

Where im from we get at least 2 cold snaps that that at least 2 weeks. Last year we had one that lasted for 2 weeks and the windchills were over -55˚C...horrible

Being prepared is key. I get such a kick out of the apocalypse syndrome that happens whenever winter hits a place that isn’t used to it or doesn’t prepare for it. I live on the prairies up here and get the “you’re an idiot” treatment all the time because the wind can be just brutal. Last year we had windchills of
