I hope it’s a continuation and not a reboot. There is lots of room to work within the existing universe of the most current franchise. They could even retell the original film b/c they hinted at that in the first film.

I actually really enjoyed the movie up until the final act. The whole end sequence just seemed way too rushed and cobbled together.

I would think that the Tyler Breeze thing was just a one off to have that match with Dream BUT if it wasnt just a one off than you have TYler Breeze taking a substantial pay cut to back to NXT. Any person currently making main roster money will have to be willing to take a similar pay cut if they want to go back down.
