As a once-stoner of 10 years, I think maybe somewhere within 1-5% of the reason NFL players that smoke weed are smoking weed is due to the “horrors that they must endure upon their bodies just so we can get our entertainment”. They’re getting high because getting high is satisfying, the same reason everyone gets high.
