Yes; the use of the electoral college and voter-districting (at least for the presidency) is antiquated and detrimental to the system. We still need districting for the House of Representatives; but it should be abolished for the Senate and for the presidential races.

But it depends on the offence. Some don’t shock you, so you do shout and make a scene. Others do, and you freeze. I’ve reacted differently to all of the most serious experiences inflicted on me, and I can’t be alone.

Questions about watching crime shows could be an attempt to establish bias - asking a witness if they watch those kind of shows regularly might be a way to suggest to a jury/judge that they’re predisposed to judgement and suspicion.
