I chose crack pipe strictly because it’s a Challenger. I’d do the same if it were a Charger, but I’d give the Charger a smidge more consideration since it looks much better

I appreciate you two leasing - it’s one way the rest of us get great used vehicles! If it works for you, keep on doing so.

This doesn’t sound true. Those features sound like one of the upper-level Rams. Those aren’t cheap. Were they offering crazy incentives?

If/when this becomes a Dodge Dakota, I wonder if it’ll be more akin to the others in its class. Or, are the bones beneath too much a Wrangler to be configurable into regular/extended/crew cabs?

LOL at “you could easily pick up [this other ugly car] for that kind of money”

Even in 1991, I couldn't believe Volvo was still selling that model brand new, and people were still buying it.

???

That’s what I was mocking with the HP figure above. The overall length was approximately twice the wheelbase. The weight was near 2.5 tons.

Overall length: 250"

It’s nice to have those features when driving in another city/locale vs. using it for the routine commutes to avoid traffic. I’d like to have the option to disable the features.

I think Margin Of Error meant it’s only a bad thing when a German automaker uses one design theme across its entire lineup, such as Audi, who gets accused of making S, M, L, and XL of the same car. Maybe I misread Margin's comment.

That's not a Civic.

Did you mean Optima and Accord?

Yeah, that’s what Andrew’s talking about...the 2020. I was noting that it’s already a weirdo for being a manu...

I know. I have one with a 6-speed manual, and it tows often. This is no Lightning or XRunner or SRT. It’s quick and strong, but not nimble or fun. This is no sport truck.

My neighbor has one. He has a more pedestrian Civic, too. Thankfully, I only really see the hideous Type R at dusk or after dark. I, too, would only take it out in low lighting to avoid being seen in that ugly-assed car. What an eyesore.

I was making the point that the mere availability of the manual made the Frontier weird. It wasn’t about lamenting the inevitable fate of manual transmissions. I’ll miss them when they’re gone, but I understand why they’re disappearing.

No manual transmission = it'll be normal.
