For years, I used to be “out of the grays” for comments. In March, I made a similar comment about this site’s tone, and they retaliated with putting me in pending comments. I mostly quit following the site because a big draw was the comment section. Pending comments are just like talking to yourself, so there's no joy…

The Camry and Accord weren’t competing with the Maxima. If anything, Nissan positioned the Stanza/Altima against the Camry and Accord. The Maxima was against the Cressida/Avalon, one rung up the ladder from the Camry. Acura may have had Honda’s alternative with the Vigor, but Acura’s target competition was always hard…

That actually makes the SSR seem palatable.
