I wouldn’t pay $8K for 8 modded Grand Cherokees of this age. This guy's not trying to sell it.

A) Nobody calls it a “right” to pay thousands above MSRP

Why? Higher transaction prices = higher taxes assessed. Taxes = their M.O.

Overrated in which way(s)?

Share the name - I'm sure they'd appreciate it, and other buyers are looking for dealers like this.

I'm sure Tom, who does this for a living, was unaware.

An Explorer Platinum starts at $58K, which is not $10K less. Are you expecting $10K in incentives?

In fairness to Kinja, this isn’t a “the [vehicle you dislike] looks like a [dissimilar vehicle]” thread, so I appreciate that it prevented an unrelated comment.

Couldn't look up "facelift" while you were Googling images of redesigned generations of a model?

No, it doesn’t. Don’t be lazy or trite.

Nah. The pun isn't clever enough.

Fair point. I’m not old enough to remember that change without researching it. The facelifts to the Eclipse and Camaro above happened during my teens.

Started off great! Then...progressively worse.

At first glance, I thought it was the newest model at the bottom. Humble pie for me.

I was pretty disappointed with this update.

Yeah...this thread is full of misunderstandings of "facelift".

Those aren't facelifts.

Not. A. Facelift.

Is that a facelift?

Do you understand "facelift" vs "all-new"?
