I don’t need a screen to display turn-by-turn directions on each drive. When I do, my cell phone is temporarily mounted to the windshield and up-to-date. As for the other functions... Buttons and knobs were perfectly fine, and older head units offered owners opportunity to swap out gear for something they preferred.

I wish Toyota had continued more in the spirit of the Camry Coupe this replaced. The prior generation of the Camry, in its Coupe SE form, was (somewhat laughably) compared to the BMW 3 Series by Motorweek. That may have been a stretch, but I liked it better than the Accord Coupe. The Solara was no match for the Accord…
