Except 1978 does not place me in the “boomer” group. You’ll have to try harder to be witty.

*yawn*
Rewind to 2001, and this generation of the Passat had standout styling. That little motor was surprisingly strong, too. Sadly, it was as reliable new as it probably is 18 years later.
I've had 7 trouble-free years with my Hyundai. I feel like they've advanced to be in the conversation with the legends like Toyota and Honda. It's the Hyundai dealership experience that needs to be reinvented.
“They are becoming more confident as their cars get better, but they don’t sell things that are not what they seam [sic].”
No, I wasn't arguing for or against anything. There were no statements in my comment.
Do the people who can afford this want a vehicle this small? If they’re shopping at the entry-level end of the brand, do they justify spending more on the higher trim of the bottom model, or (if they can afford more) do they go for a larger Mercedes with base options?
That is significantly better than the homely SUV in the photos Andrew shared.
I’m sure I’m outnumbered, but the Mazda front end, while less offensive, isn’t wonderful. The leading edge of the grille/hood seemingly juts out ahead of the bumper. It looks like overbite, and it afflicts the 3, CX-5, and CX-9.
Maybe. I guess we’ll see. Historically, the Navigator was a step or two off from the Escalade. The first Navigator was a hilariously ugly vehicle, and it’s taken decades to finally outdo the Escalade. The Navigator is gettin’ love from the critics. We’ll see if that translates to sales.
I feel sorry for the small, rural GM dealers who rely on these and Silverados to keep the lights on. The new Expedition and Navigator look significantly more attractive. The years-old current F-150 is still very competitive with the all-new Silverado, and it’s about to get its own redesign. The Ram is performing very…
Opposed to the audience?
Pretentiousness and tackiness. That’s how the Escalade will stand apart.
I’m aware. I said “at Dodge stores”, which, in my area, invariably includes Ram, Chrysler, and Jeep. If I were to revise my comment, then I'd throw in the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler. So, there are four vehicles.
Annnd.... Lincoln wins decidedly.
You lost me at “Dodge”. Other than the Durango and Ram, there’s nothing to see at Dodge stores.
If this were 1999 and they wanted $6,900, then I’d say nice price. In 2004, maybe I would have said nice price. In 2019, asking $6,900 for this car suggests the seller’s on crack and perhaps owes money to some bad dudes.
Oh, look. Another “brave” internet a-hole who knows nothing about me other than the comment I made above. I’m not a Republican. You made the assumption because I said something that triggered you, snowflake.
“Fuck Republicans!" is all you have to type to get thunderous applause in these here parts.
Initially, I deemed you a troll. You’re worse - you’re a dumbass troll.
