What was terrible about Luke wasn’t necessarily the cool visuals. Even watching TLJ now I can appreciate some of the visuals and clever execution. It’s how it jammed way to much of what would be required to be shown in an arc to explain itself and did it in such a way it really jacked with Rey’s story.

The warped humor was often a big draw to these games. It’s not like games like Space Quest or Beneath a Steel Sky or even The Longest Journey didn’t realize their puzzles were absurd - they were a big part of the hilarity.
