“... the Marvelization of Faye Valentine ...”
Also Star Trek Prodigy is on Nick tonight at 9PM EST. Did not even realize it had begun airing.
I am curious if, for the short term, his L&O and Criminal Intent episodes are going to be taken out of rotation on the various cable channels that run them.
Production shut down today “and will remain halted until early January”. So basically their regular Christmas break? I am more (mildly) curious if they all quarantining in Montreal or are headed to their various homes for the break.
“Forgotten” yet most of them are in heavy rotation on various networks. I swear I ran across almost all of them surfing for something to watch just now.
Not usually a collector but if I run across one I might have to pick up that Defender Strange figure (though I thought the Defenders were Marvels “non-team”).
On the slideshow posts now I have to reload the page, then shrink it and enlarge/restore it to load comments (multiple times if I want to read all the comments. At least I think it is all the comments. Still lose a lot of the ungreyed comments when I hit pending to see the grey comments on all posts).
Yes! Going by the title* that is it (and thank you).
So I guess we can expect his character’s death on The Equalizer?
Animated/puppet-ish suggestions (if you can find them) - Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, A Cosmic Christmas, The Gift of Winter (on Tubi I think), and of course the incredibly stunning Star Wars Holiday Special.
I was really pleasantly surprised by Alien Raiders when I caught it a few years back. It is a solid sf action flick (though it was recommended to me because I was into the Delta Green RPG books at the time, so my appreciation might be a bit skewed).
“There have been multiple versions of Zorro’s story. Antonio Banderas became the first Latino in the role in the 1998 movie The Mask of Zorro ...”
I know it is meant to represent John Cho but looking at the art all I see is a Cowboy Bebop with Jean Paul Belmondo as Spike (maybe Lt. Blueberry as Spike?).
“The complete series fits together into a charming and elegiac portrait of a tired old man (voiced by Ed Asher in one of his final performances)...”
“Mummering is a deeply weird ancient Christmas tradition practiced in (usually rural) parts of Canada, Latvia, Newfoundland, and Ireland...”
(A little late but in case anyone is interested) Tonight Guillermo del Toro and Kim Morgan will be guest hosting/presenting three films on Turner Classic Movies starting at 8PM EST, including the first adaptation of Nightmare Alley (the other two films are Too Late For Tears and Where the Sidewalk Ends).
As (hopefully) more resources are always better I know it is a terrible takeaway from this news, plus not explaining it well, but my first thought at reading this was how unfortunately this may give even more power/louder voice to Autism Speaks (not a fan on any level of Autism Speaks).
A version of this I saw floating around a few days ago is that The Omicron Variant sounds like the title of an old Robert Ludlum paperback.
Haven’t we already been shown what will happen?
If anyone wants a quick horror binge check out the vampire (though the v-word is never used) thriller Ultraviolet, a late nineties UKTV series that starred Idris Elba, Jack Davenport, and Stephen Moyer. It only runs six episodes and is free with commercials on Tubi (and probably Pluto, Plex, etc.).
