Stupid question but just curious about something I heard (and probably misunderstood) in all the coverage yesterday or today. On one of the networks’ morning shows (NBC?) they were answering viewer questions, covering how long the virus would last on various surfaces like cash (not long because cash is porous plus we

No idea where, in all the Coronavirus news, I heard this today but apparently whoever the powers that be that regulate these things are looking to drop the official baseline temperature from 98.6 down to (I think they said) 97.8 or 97.9.

So it is basically a remake of Hardcore Henry (or Harry)?

Not sure how to properly put this question so it will make sense, plus I have no idea how SXSW is run (if they pay for any talent, films, etc.,), but since they are keeping the money are they going to go ahead and pay their vendors, talent, whatever monies they contracted to pay out, or are they leaving folks hanging

Doesn’t the new series or season of Cosmos start tonight on National Geographic also?

Begging again for AVC to stop writing about specific content on the Archive. Based on past experience (articles on Lifehacker or maybe Giz) when post like this is written, letting folks know about a neat collection hosted on the Archive, it ends up being taken down.

Didn’t we used to have a version of this twenty years ago (maybe twenty-five)? I swear I remember picking them up quite often just to have on hand if I could not get a coffee. You had to press or pop a button on the bottom of the can to start the heating process.

If interested head over there now to look through the collection. Based on past experience almost as soon as an article like this is posted, popularizing or letting folks know about a neat collection hosted on the Archive, it ends up being taken down (though I hope it does not happen in this case).

Or another Z-Nation prequel? Isn’t the Black Summer series on Netflix (at least on Netflix in the U.S.) a prequel*?

No, but Dalek creator Terry Nation did with his Survivors series from 1975.

Deleted because I read my post and I think I was just being cynical and, by extension, mean (or at least too snarky).

“Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey ... downsized from its original title, Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn...”

Is regular famous versus famous-famous the same as “just” being a well-known actor/star versus being a megastar? Because if it is I have to agree that he only came to be regarded as a megastar or famous-famous to the world because of Titanic.

I can easily find Neoguri around here but what would be a good, or at least close, plus easily found in chain supermarkets, substitute for Chapagetti? Thanks.

Along with the Simon Dutton movies there was also a CBS pilot back in the eighties with Andrew Clarke as Simon Templar. The only things I remember from watching it, way back when, was that the actor had the wrong accent, had a moustache (trying to look like Selleck?) and drove a black, not white, sports car.

But, on the plus side that movie also had appearances by Roger Moore and Ian Ogilvy.

I may be misreading it but it looks like the $69 refurbished HP Chromebook deal is sold out, at least at the Woot! link embedded above.
