Are we absolutely certain Lee Grant and Anna Wintour are not the same person?
Are we absolutely certain Lee Grant and Anna Wintour are not the same person?
Thank you.
Does anyone know where in Alaska this happened? I won't lie, while I am not a fan of guns of any kind I did grow up truly in the middle of nowhere and mom did have a shotgun handy to scare off certain animals* if necessary, so in this case I could see why they had a gun, depending on wildlife/location.
Eh, based on my very (very) limited experience this fake survey might not be that off, just going by my single friends' statements and actions (what? it is almost as scientific as this study). The woman tend to love who they are with (if they do), but when it is over it is over (often with some version of "I only…
Not that it comes up often with folks I barely know, but the few times it has I do say I don't date, usually followed by a lame joke of some kind. In this case these are folks who knew me back when, know some of my history, and are trying to get to know me again (and vice-versa).
The question about my celibacy comes up because I have been basically a shut-in for the last thirteen or so years (nothing wrong with me - well, lots wrong with me but nothing that is keeping me in - just responsibilities taking care of others) and dropped out of touch with a lot of friends and former co-workers…
(I am not sure this makes any sense but ...)
What?!? Really?!? Holy hells, not in a million years would I have guessed that.
Can anyone recommend a fairly easy to find IPA for someone who so far has not found an IPA they enjoy? Never had any IPA's before (do not know how I managed that after almost sixty years on the planet but ...) so I have been trying a few out but have not really enjoyed any of them. I find they all overwhelm me with a…
I do not know about this choice. Isn't Mr. Pacino responsible for that seventies race movie Bobby Deerfield?
Here is the thing (and to be clear I am not claiming to be correct, this is just my own stupid "reasoning"). I have been celibate for twenty-plus years. I tend to think that, because I have not been tested for anything ever, that I am (or at least might be) actually a higher risk than someone, regardless of whether…
(... and the lightbulb goes on) Ahhh. Now I get it. As usual I completely glossed over/missed something. Thank you.
"... will soon be eligible for Medicare, making the mandate issue moot."
And an hour or so later it shows back up on the main thread. Weird.
Not sure what is going on, or if it just on my computers, but this Grammy live blog has disappeared off the main Jez page. Zero trace. If I had not been reading it earlier I would not have known it existed, or to search for it under Julianne's name/byline.
Re: Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Is there such a thing as failed shade? I just think that, if it was meant as shade it really did not work (plus there is the feeling of "if you have to explain a joke..." around it).
That was fun. I really enjoy the Mental Floss videos. Anyway, a couple of questions/comments/whatever.
I honestly thought it was meant as a joke, that she was an actor on Game of Thrones and that was her character's name, until I googled her.
But was it shade or truth (can it be both?). I did not see the half-time performance but the news and talk shows I have seen (really heard in the background, tv's are on for others) this morning have praised Missy Elliot far more than Katy Perry. In truth I have heard more about sharks performing the Macarana (not…
Not for nuthin' but I am just watching Cyndi Lauper on PBS' Front and Center from 2014 and .. WOW ... just WOW ... (really I got nothing, she just seems both ageless and amazing, and I say this as someone who was not a huge fan before today).
