Very sad. At one point I swear Mr. Hermann was in almost every non-SF production* I watched (L&O, Grey's, Oz, The Practice, I think Homicide, etc., etc.), and there was all his movie work. I enjoyed his acting, and specifically his voice and delivery (always happy when I come across a documentary he is narrating)…

I had it on, with the sound off, for a while while (?) I was making bread last night. I was fascinated by the way the cat would stop every few minutes and stare at the same spot right beside the camera in that cat "what the hell are you looking at" way.
