I have never listened to Serial but, assuming it is presented in basically the same way as This American Life, it was an amazing short. Not sure I am going to make sense, but it reminded me of SCTV at its best. Not necessarily laugh out loud funny but clever and sharp. Spot-on perfect (at least for TAL). Hopefully

No. He cannot be the next James Bond. He is the perfect Nick Fury. He needs to be available to launch a stand alone superspy Nick Fury spy-fi franchise.

Now if they could just do something to help me watch "I Spy" or "Hickey and Boggs".

"... my wife ordered a DVD of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas ..." is it with or without the Kermit intro (they took it out a few years back)?

I am not claiming to be right, either about the details or at all, plus I cannot do a search from this computer, but did not one of the Flight 93 family members get the trademark for or on "Let's Roll", which I thought was a common phrase? Though I also remember something about Donald Trump not being able to

Not that it matters, but you are not the only one who gets confused (though I live here now, I did not grow up in the U.S., and often get confused about this - Asian vs Indian in this case - and many, many other subjects).

I am pretty certain this is obvious to everyone else, but I am thick, so ... as the truffles were in a glass case how did she get to them? Was the case enclosed? Was it just a matter of reaching in from where she was, or did she have to walk around to the back of the case? Was there an employee standing there to shave

This is The Wall (from the DTV movie "Batman: Assault on Arkham") -

Not saying that I am correct (I have not kept up with the various video games, and am behind on the DTV animated releases, so I have missed quite a bit) but is there any chance you mean CCH Pounder in place of S. Epatha Merkerson?

She has been that way since DC [edit]* revamped everything into the New 52. I believe the way the character looks on "Arrow" is pretty much the way she now looks in continuity [edit]*.

Somewhat related (from 1977's "American Raspberry" aka "Prime Time")

"It's like Jim Butcher, Charlie Stross, and Gordon Ramsey got together, smoked some serious BC weed ... then wrote an urban fantasy/sf novel taking place entirely in family restaurants."

While confusing does not seen like the right word to use (at least to me), Ms. Goldberg's follow up question is not out of line*, and does go unanswered.

What does the picture at the top of the post represent (if anything) or where is it from (I know Vogue but Vogue US, Vogue UK, Vogue India, etc.,), or is just a generic picture that means nothing in conjunction with the article? Thanks.

Thank you very much for the recommendation. I have never heard of Noah's Mill, never heard mention of it, but I will be on the lookout for it (and Dry Fly also).

Thanks. I wish I could find a bottle of Basil Hayden to try, but no luck so far (I am living in the middle of nowhere). Same goes for any version of Four Roses. Knob Creek I can get my hands on (for some reason I did not even think about it - they even carry the airline bottles so I can test drive it without making

Cool, helps me whittle down my next pick. Currently my choices for next to try are narrowed down to Bulliet or Eagle Reserve, but I am a little iffy on Eagle. Thank you.
