the next Step Up movie will be about a hip hop dance crew set against the backdrop of WWII Austria.

I’ve done this with a few “classics” from my childhood for my son. Does not work, just so many better made shows out there now than the hybrid commercial/legally mandated morality stories of our youth.

heh I watched it some with my three-year-old the other week and we had a fun time. I’ll admit that maybe the bar was lower than usual for me due to watching a looooot of her favorite shows before He-Man.

I may have said the before on here, but I sat down last year with my 6 year old son to try and kick off the nostalgia train and get him into He-Man and started watching the old series. We both barely made it through the first episode. He politely asked if we could watch something else when it finished and I happily

We need to gather a ragtag bunch of investigators to stymie the network execs from completing the necessary summoning ritual.

I was really hoping some of the supposed behind the scenes issues were being worked out with AS and Small when that was happening. Thank god. I’m insanely excited about a Venture Bros flick but even more so with Metalocalypse. Good stuff here. Very good stuff.

FUCK YEAH. Venture and Metalocalypse are two of my all time fave shows, and ATHF is an old fave. This actually makes me somewhat happy. A real feat these days.

Fun Fact The Doomstar Requiem is the best musical written since Les Mis and Brendon Small is one of the most talented people in the industry today. And that is

I’ve always subscribed to the idea that zombies should be slow, dumb and plentiful. Not shoulder to shoulder dense, but definitely thick enough that there’s no way someone could bob and weave through the pack.

It’s hard to say if Rogen’s statement is too soft or merely leaving the door open to future honest redemption.  Franco has done a lot of bad things, but nothing that would put him past redemption after quite a bit of sincere work and acceptance of responsibility.  That seems unlikely, and most people like Franco are

Again, not to do their job for them, but Newsweek reported that it gets about half the ratings of The Flash and is the lowest rated CW Show and that’s why it’s being cancelled. But I shouldn’t have to be the one to say it.

Deadline reported last November that the show was canceled due to low ratings,

Kanan is not white, the showrunners said so. It’s getting creepy how many white people are keen to assert that he was in fact white and just had a tan at this point.

and in Blade Runner 2049 (and the prequel short) you can see him actually act even with very little screen time.

It’s a children’s cartoon for the Forces sake.

People aren’t considering that he might “just have a tan” because the creatives literally confirmed he wasn’t white when the show began, in 2014.

Also has anyone ever considered that Kanan might just of had a tan from hanging out on desert planets?

Yeah but I’m sure with makeup and CG you’ll hardly notice

I have a sudden urge to go watch Beyond the Black Rainbow after this teaser.

Oh, thank god it wasn't just me. I had to hunt for several minutes to find the "Continue reading" button amongst the ads.

Yeah. To me, it felt like the biggest problem with the series (besides Karli’s plot missing... a lot) was that it never answered the question got posed by Episode 5.
