Love this article. Though I’d argue that Avatar and Korra in particular did not have successful runs. Nickelodeon tried in various ways to kill both shows and destroy their fanbase. There may have been complaints regarding toy sales and merch but I don’t recall seeing much of anything any toy buyers or collectors…
