Hi! I love your writing. I agree with your points, especially the notion that there are two distinct sides of “Imaginary Blackness” as expressed by, as you say, Native Africans and New World Africans. Yes, just as with the white imagination, white patriarchal hegemonic colonialism infects/dictates (?) how Native

Beg to differ. Suits is actually pretty popular. Plus, until last season, Gina Torres was one of the co-stars.

Not sure if you’re aware, but in the early days of the “Black Power Movement” of the 60s and 70s - we Africans born in America were emerging from having had relatively limited access to information about Africa, the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, etc and were learning to embrace and love our African heritage. It would’ve been nice if you could have secured the rights to two or three pictures from the book for the article. Maybe there’s a forthcoming update to the article? Please?

Did you mean to say the the Philippines was a former Spanish colony? Not checking YOU, but seeking clarification.

So, do you believe everything you see on TV? Do you also believe that all Black people (since all Black people are the same): dance, eat chicken, play basketball, smoke weed, carry guns, live in the “hood”, are presently or have been gang members, are genetically more promiscuous than others, are all on welfare,...

Thanks - exactly why we need that Black Business directory and article posted on Lifehacker.

What are some options for safely shipping from overseas or from the Caribbean back to the US?

Showbiz Pizza in Atlanta had this one! This game was frustrating as hell for my 10/11 year old self. It required exquisite timing for hand or foot movements and an advanced familiarity with the game’s story so you’d be prepared for the next move.

There’s an international farmer’s market in Dekalb GA that has an extensive butcher/meats section. They often have precut meats for stews on display. Check to see if you have something similar in your area if you can’t find a standard butcher shop...

Here’s proof that trolls are actually sun-dried turds that speak.

This must’ve been after I left. Was it in Frenchtown?

Not sure I understand where you’re coming from regrading the kids from IT. They were kids being kids - how ere they annoying to you to the point where you wanted to see them devoured by the dead lights creature?

Can we post this pilot’s name? Isn’t that public information?
