Electric motors are already at 90% efficiency. Its not really new technology. The first cars were in fact electric and their motors worked in a very similar way. ICE OTOH is at 30% efficiency and has plenty of room for growth..

This. If you don't have to drive - might as well cruise around in something big and comfortable. Look for tons of bus like things on the street. It's not going to be pretty - but it sure seems likely. Eventually no one will drive - and everyone will nap in traffic. They had a Doctor Who episode like that haha.

Seems pretty nice - but with the Fusion, Accord, Mazda 6, 200 and Passat in that class I would be hard pressed to pick it.. I'd drive one over a Camry or Altima though - I didn't like either of those cars when I rented them.

I really think its hard to make a good looking SUV.. But this approach seems to hit all the wrong buttons. Not sure trying to make a glorified Camry look hard is a great idea.. And that goes for the Camry too.

I do agree the poster is using satire to attack GM for not having Barra speak - rather then some silly attempt to promote sexism. I think this is misguided though. You want a car person to do your car shows. You might be a great CEO of a car company but not really a car person - these are massive companies with unions

i3 can't have awesome wall paper. What's next awesome wall paper of a CR-V? I don't hate the i3 - kinda cool in a Kei carish way.. But awesome no..

Haven driven some Audi's - let me say - I don't believe you. I think you are confusing it with Q50. :P Now that is something that really is disconnected..

The statistic I like to look at for safety is death per 100 million miles travelled. If look at that numbers cars actually do fairly well. It's still a risk - but its much close to other forms of transportation then you might believe..

Not sure the picture really came out.. Anyway the i3 is the luxo box. Maybe you just don't count German luxury cars - I dunno. But they pretty much own the luxury segement with all niches covered.

This car already exists:

Wow.. Haters gonna hate I guess. That ad is fine - you are taking this WAY to seriously. Did a Dodge run over your cat or something? Lighten up man..

That makes even less sense - C02 is produced when the little generator is used and in the process of creating biodiesel.. People were giving you the benefit of the doubt when we talked about efficiency.. If this process was vastly more efficient it would produce less C02. It's not.

Orders of magnitude? How ya figure that one? You just pulling that out of your..

This entire article is much ado about nothing. Gamers need not fear #gamergate or feminist criticism.

This is the kind of car you have to fully resto mod....would cost a lot of money to make it a good car. I'd rather start with a good looking muscle car or interesting European car.

Secret World doesn't have wizards or spaceships as far as I know.. Not sure bad themes is the problem for MMOs. I think people are pretty flexible if the game plays great.. Of course the trick is finding a way to make MMOs more enthralling. I don't think that's really happened yet..

The time when we stop using attractive people to help sell things will never happen. So no its not the time to stop using booth babes.

With an 800+ horsepower 7 liter V12 linked to a sequential gearbox pushing just 2,976 pounds (1350 kg), those lucky 24 buyers are certainly in for a thrilling drive. There's also no other car on the market with such a old school naturally aspirated powertrain, let alone a racing V12.

Companies have no fiscal obligation to be agents for social change. All they need to do is maximize profits for share holders while obeying the law. They should just ignore Anika rather then end up like Bioware with people whining about their attempts at telling a story that everyone wants to hear. Rockstar games gets

Oh White Knight..
