Agreed. I was a big fan of John Simms' the Master and Michelle Gomez didn't work for me at all.

I would pick Chiwetel Ejiofor over Paterson Joseph.

Also, much less busty.

Oh, for real? I didn't know that. Guess I just have a soft spot for lazy rat-pack riffing, baby doll.

Literally three of my favorite characters of all time.

The insane thing about this show, which feels like it's being broadcast from the early 90s, is how fucking stacked it is with awesome, funny people. Thomas Lennon! Wendell Pierce! Yvette Nicole Brown! Even Dave Foley! All wasted!

"If he hadn't meant me to wag it, sir, why would the Lord give me a tail?"

I wish the commenters here would remember that speech not just in the in the news items about Twin Peaks, but also the ones about, say, Richard Spencer.

Honestly, I do get that (it took me a while to get into the show as well), but the show found the right mix of superhero self-seriousness and Grand Guignol camp about halfway through the first season and has been pretty consistently entertaining since then. Yes.

What, you're telling me a show that had a vigilante going after pension-robbing bankers by tying them to balloons in the *third episode* isn't trying to be a gritty, Nolan-esque serious drama? Dear god!

Oh dear. Did you clutch your pearls while typing this, to keep from fainting?

She's married to Vincent Kartheiser, so in a way, she gets to see Pete Campbell every day.

How do I know how small the pool of talented actors is? That's simple: the number of people with dwarfism is less (much less, in fact) than 1% of the population. So, all other things being equal (which of course is also a big assumption: a dearth of roles for people with dwarfism might mean relatively fewer of them

Respectfully, I disagree.
