no one needs to drive to work or anywhere else since almost everyone will be “sheltering in place”

Idk if they'll grow like they otherwise could have this year, but I expect Tesla's customer base is better prepared then most for these shutdowns and will likely better during the recovery. It's not like their investors have been concerned with profits to date.

Just be sure to check in with your own comments in a month.

Am kinda on Flav’s side here, of all the straws for *this* to be the final one? Really?

I have mixed feelings about this. No one should be forced to endorse someone because the band leader said so. On the other hand since Chuck D. OWNS the name Public Enemy and is the band leader he can offer their service to play but if someone doesn’t want to participate, let them sit it out. I think stuff has been

We used to refer to these things as a “land yacht” or a “boat”.

No don’t do it. I bought mine for $6k then had another $5k into it in parts. then after getting it back together the front AC pusher fan relay got stuck on and caught fire. insurance only gave me $4K.

Same here. If this were the car I wanted (haha, fuck no), I would want to find one long-termed owned by an enthusiast. Every city has these little dealers that “specialize” in worn-out Euro trash. I find their wares riskier than direct ordering bat soup from Wuhan.

This piece is being sold by “Mark’s Discount Truck and Auto Sales.” That alone gives me pause along with the statement at the top. This motor doesn’t have a great reputation for reliability, and the vehicle has too many hints concerning the lack of care it has had throughout its life. CP Mahk.

Right, the EV Hummer truck has a chance to break open the EV truck market. Cybertruck? Sorry but it’s a laughable curiosity that will likely never get built in anything close to current form, if ever. I don’t see many F-150 or Silverado buyers switching a a Cybertruck in current form.

There isn’t anything ugly about he Volt. It’s dull but not ugly.

Ugly compared to what? The Prius? I actually think it looks pretty good and the 2nd gen looks more like a Honda Civic.

> The Bolt and Volt have been mediocre

I own a 9 year old Volt and despite the fact that its a complex car with 2 powertrains and was developed back when most people thought it was insane to stick a huge lithium ion battery in a car its been dead-reliable and does exactly what it was meant for: a commuter car that saves money by using battery power for

Don’t be asinine. The person in front of you that wants to recline owes you nothing and is not responsible for the shrinking amount of personal space the airlines use to maximize profits.

Just wait until it crosses over onto The Takeout and someone writes a make-believe letter to The Salty Waitress: “Dear Salty, if I recline my airplane seat into the person behind me, do I have to tip my server?”

I’m having a hard time believing this is really a problem. I’m 5'9' and I’ve always had several inches of clearance between my knees and a reclined seat. I’ve never had a airline cup knocked over by reclining seats (if you put a tall water bottle there, that’s your own fault). I don’t try to use a laptop on the tray

Do I like it when people recline? No. But am I going to be an asshole and tell you NOT to recline? No.

I don’t recommend anyone ask to recline unless they intend to yield if the other person denies their request.  It is super rude to ask with false pretense.  Expect you will be denied. Travelers are very petty, entitled, bitter.

Whatever. I’m going to continue my reclining. As long the person behind me isn’t working on a meal, I am just gonna tilt. It’s a function of the seat, and I’m going to use it.
