No one asked them to adopt this child. In fact, along the way, experts told them not to adopt this child because they knew these two were not in a position to do so!

She knew what she was getting into and she chose to ignore it. She was told by a doctor that she trusted who, once looking at imaging, strongly urged them not to adopt this child. That this was going to be a very difficult case. Multiple experts told her how bad it could be. They still decided to go for it and…
Emotional and financial considerations are usually made before deciding to adopt. What makes these people hateful is that their “lifestyle” involves broadcasting their “journey” and their irresponsible choices. They should go away and get jobs that don’t involve traumatizing children.
I agree with and appreciate your pointing out the way that families are judged, but the issue here isn’t her “lifestyle”. It’s that she monetized her ‘adoption journey’ of a special-needs child, handed him off to a different family when day-to-day reality sunk in, and her regrets appear to be far more about the loss…
No to all of this. They adopted for the youtube ad revenue and then gave the child away when parenting became too much work. Fuck them.
My thoughts are, did she re-home all the money she made during the process? Because I doubt it.
She’s abandoned her boy! She’s abandoned her boy! She’s abandoned her boy!
“Her channel grew exponentially when she began posting monetized videos about her “adoption journey.”
Yes, “hackers” routinely target total nobodys to post a single racist statement.
One of my buddies started an instagram page for his Tesla. It’s beyond insane
I don’t think it’s too bad if you compare it to the Model Y. I also think they should just call it the Mach E though and drop the Mustang thing as that is quite obviously a last minute gimmick someone came up with at Ford.
Looks great. This car looks good in motion.
It doesn’t look like it’s honoring its heritage much, sitting there at an intersection, all in control and not careening sideways across the grassy boulevard.
But as a crossover/thing, I’d say it looks pretty damn good. Especially in that color.
Since it’s clear people will keep buying crossovers (which makes sense! If you see your car as an appliance, which most people do, they make a ton of practical sense) companies might as well try and make them look good, and I think this looks pretty good. (FWIW the Eclipse crossover also looked better in person than I…
It’s not horrid. I think the big thing that we will have to get used to is the shape of the noses of today’s cars. Because of pedestrian safety standards in Europe, cars are getting crumple zones on the hood and nose. The manufacturers are pretty much stuck with the same side profile to the front of the vehicle right…
It’s easy to hot-take this thing but it looks like a well-executed electric CUV and a respectable competitor to the Tesla Model Y. Ford got gobs of publicity and name recognition by using the Mustang sub-brand. I think they are doing it right.
Thats how you attract people from the Rav4 and CRV. Make it a little less ugly than those and people will love it!
Huh, to my surprise that looks actually pretty cool! And, a color that isnt white/grey also. Well done, Ford!*
*obviously lets not fully weigh in till they actually release it and all that.
I like it. If the interior is nice, it should sell well.
