This was the first match I’ve watched this WC, and the first soccer I’ve watched in forever. Every flop, every phantom contact, every little bullshit thing France did during injury time to run the clock out like falling on the ball or making it difficult for Belgium to get the ball to inbound... all reminded me of

I didn’t watch this game because I just don’t like soccer very much. However, after hearing about the 1-0 victory I commented to a co-worker that the reason I don’t like soccer is that a team can just score a goal and play defense / keep-away for the remainder of the game.  In no other sport is that strategy possible,

Jesus, they sound like Mets fans (and everyone else the Royals beat) in 2015.

“Well, ya know, they just play superb defense and have one of the best bullpens of all time ... but they’re actually not really a good team. They’re just getting lucky. We’re actually better than them.”

“How dare they review something they didn’t enjoy!”

...you’re aware that Fox News and Fox are separate networks, right?

The accused are innocent until proven guilty, for one.

Huge difference between allegation and conviction.

Honest question: What do you hope to accomplish with these articles?

What’s the end game here?

Four stories in fewer than 24 hours. At what point does it cease to be journalism and start to be advocacy?

No one knew about this incident. How would anyone know to randomly look into Texas indictments about a case that was never brought to court? Why weren’t you reporting on this years ago? Oh, I know, because you didn’t know about it either until you knew exactly what to search for and where to search for it.

Many people weren’t aware because he didn’t do anything wrong. I know that hurts your agenda, but posting a new article every 10 minutes isn’t going to change that.

Its probably more of being falsely accused, going through the court process, doing the best to succeed in life then to have it brought up again 22 years late. Im pretty sure that sucks.

Not saying he didn’t do it, but grand juries are nothing but glorified rubber stamps for prosecutors. If they want an indictment, they get it, if they don’t, they don’t. A grand jury indicting someone means about as much as the police choosing to arrest someone.

Defense lawyer here. At a grand jury proceeding there is no rules of evidence and no defense attorney. It’s a closed door proceeding. Ever heard the phrase, “you can indict a ham sandwhich?” It basically means that a prosecutor can get an indictment behind closed doors on anyone for anything. So it has no

Just like the first season, I have absolutely no feeling towards seeing these robot characters die - the entire point is that they’re either a)entirely replaceable or b)maintain some flaw throughout their replacements, in which case, reboot the code. I honestly have a huge issue caring for the robots at all when

Deadspin was a version of Barstool not that long ago.

a mediocre pitcher falling off a cliff getting paid 25MM a year is why no one wants to sign free agents this year.
