Sounds like you have a fully formed opinion on something you don’t know about. Dangerous, that.

Part of it is also that the part with the two silouettes isn’t its own panel, the eye isn’t drawn to it, so that transition between Panel 2 and the punchline isn’t there.

I’m genuinely convinces they don’t really know how to make a quality “classic” style RPG anymore.  Octopath was a step in the right direction, but they so clearly half-assed certain elements of the game that would have been unthinkable in the classics.

I’ve discussed this with people before, but I really cannot understand Square-Enix at all. They’ve shown that they love a good cash-in (shitloads of F2P mobile games, expensive ports of Chrono, FFVI, etc., and the future 14 disc version of FFVII), so why didn’t they ever do something like this? Not remotely suprising. A quick look at the female characters in LoL itself tells you tons about their mindset toward women.
