Unfortunately this will never, ever happen in the US. The way federal and state budgets are set up with very clear spending terms means looking at longer term budget savings just...isn’t a thing. It almost never happens. That’s why the US has the insanely complicated and ridiculously expensive healthcare system. Until

From the Biden admin I want real, actual outcomes to promises to deliver better EV charging infrastructure. I think with the new Transport Secretary being confirmed today, we have a chance to actually make some nationwide progress on this. I say this as someone who doesn’t even own an EV but recognises that it’s

They look great! but c’mon guys. We have to admit it now more than ever. The sports sedan market just aint what it was and I doubt will be again for sometime. I dont think i’ve even seen an M340i on the road in months. I predict absolutely no one will buy them. Now, if they created an XT5 Blackwing....maybe the market

I want to love Lexus. I do. I’m not a retired snowbird either. I love comfortable, reliable cars that just work. The problem is, as I am actually in my 30's, I want something that has *some* modern tech to it. The Toyota Venza is a better Lexus than any of their current line up which just doesn’t work for the market.

Subaru have made some missteps and I see the same thing happening in the North American market if they’re not careful. They just haven’t moved the game on. They could have and should have licensed more EV and hybrid tech from Toyota. I know supply would be the issue but if they could have the RAV4 Prime powertrain in

Wait does Peugeot MX not sell the AMAZING new 208 yet? Looks like they just have the previous gen?

I actually quite like most of the Buick range (NOT the EncorE - yuck) but my god are they boring. They don’t stand out for literally anything. The design is fine, the economy is okay, the price is meh, the interior acceptable. It’s just so utterly meh. Meh doesn’t sell cars (at least in the US) They should shove the

To me, it’s like you’re taking a terrible car to begin with and finding ingenious ways to make *even more terrible* There is not one single redeeming feature about this car for me EXCEPT I am enjoying the passion you have for this. VERY few other people spend this much time, money and attention on a crappy old Leaf - s

Easy - Cadillac. Sure it’s nostalgic, but that aint gunna help sales. Time for re-think.

It’s *so* clean and *so* beige! It’s too $$$ but I love it.

Americans don’t hate wagons - see the success of the Outback for example. But Americans don’t see the point of paying an enormous premium for wagons. It’s such an annoyance.

Kia / Hyundai showing that even with questionable reliability (they’re way better but still not great - the 2.4L Theta II engine has an insane failure rate) they can still get decent sales. Why? Because they deliver decent design, excellent, comfortable interiors and great tech. Nissan needs to listen and learn.

I.....I don’t understand. It’s a typo right? Because approaching $60,000 for a 14 year old Durango? What are we missing here? is there some Tesla shares hidden the trunk or what?

Globally they sell 400,000 units though. That does make it more worthwhile, though I imagine most markets wouldn’t be interested in PHEVs just yet anyway.

I know, I know Toyota is ULTRA cautious about these things and the whole point and joy of a Land Cruiser is the delicious and ridiculously dependable V8. But at the same time, they have the ability to make fast and actually decent PHEVs (eg 300hp RAV4 Prime) how difficult can it be to add a battery to the Highlander

To be perfectly honest, I hate it. 3 spokes are fantastic and belong on a Saab and a Saab only - but you do you boo. It’s your car. Personally if I was going to buy a dirt cheap used EV with awful range, I would’ve got an e-Golf. At least you can make that look like a GTI but you’re taking a more unique route so good

FYI I still hate slide shows BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY OMG YES to Citroën Saxo’s! I owned 2 in the UK. A VTR and VTS. (VTR was cheaper insurance, VTS is faster) and I loved them! They were okay reliability wise....for small french cars. Crash protection is understandably awful, but no one imports a 25 year old EU supermini

The community truck idea sounds great in theory but it also sounds like a great way to fall out with your neighbours which is never good. Someone would have take ultimate responsibility for it and getting money from everyone etc. It sounds like a chore.

WHERE. ARE. THE. MINIVANS!? (I mean there’s only 2 really, but it’s hard to go wrong with an AWD Sienna? Also THIS! - its half the budget at $2495 - although pretty far away from NH.

I have a 2018 Highlander and honestly I am shocked at how bad the headlights are. Even in city driving. If I’m anywhere without street lights, I often have to put the front fog lamps on. It suffers from both awful illumination but also design - the headlights are too high so they don’t illuminate the actual road.
