Well that sucks! I thought on the newer models (2017+) adaptive cruise was standard but you had to get a package for the pilot assist.

Re: features - I find this the most frustrating aspect of buying used. eg, I was trying to find a CPO Volvo with adaptive cruise a while ago. It’s fine on the newer models as its mostly standard but on a 2015 XC60? It’s a case of having to look at the steering wheel pictures to see if the controls for distancing are

so hang on, the N-Line is a trim level with some sporty upgrades, but we will also get the Elantra N (no line) too? - same as BMW with M-Sport and M etc.

I always liked the look of the Dart and I had a rental one from Hertz (in bare bones rental spec) which was actually quite chuckable. But as a used purchase? with mods? nope. No way. It’s a cheap FCA economy sedan and everything that goes along with that. ND.

Easy - the invention of the CVT.

Can we take a moment also to appreciate the finances. $35k list new. $16k sale 21 years later (which they could probably get a bit more for tbh) = $900 a year cost of purchase. No wonder people continue to love these things.

If I had to buy an EV, I’d actually go the Volvo route because whilst the range isnt quite there yet, I like the design and comfort level of modern Volvo’s despite the completely awful reliability.

Has reliability fallen though? i’m not sure the data backs up that assumption. People are holding onto their cars for longer and longer (for lots of reasons, mainly the crazy cost of replacing a  car now) but also because reliability has improved dramatically and continues to.....providing you stay away from JLR

Colour = Yes! Literally everything else = Absolutely not.

Looks like they’re all GM trucks and SUV’s right?

I like it. It looks cool and i’m sure sounds great. But I just don’t understand how on earth the driving dynamics would work. Adding a bunch of power to a van sounds great in theory but the ability to y’know, steer, change gear and actually brake.....all need to be factored into the mix. ND. It sounds terrifying.

Uh, you know it’s still a VW right?

If they made it $10,000 cheaper. It may indeed be a game changer. I just don’t see the point of this over a Tesla.

Tell me this. Have you actually spent any time in amodern’ Infiniti? have you had a chance to experience their two screen/infotainment climate layout thingy.

Yeah the one I had was a Touring trim so pretty low spec with the leatherette cloth mix combo. I’ll definitely re-try a Signature trim early next year when I have to switch my lease out.

The space between Chevy and Buick is kinda surprising given they’re essentially just all the same cars at this point right? I wonder if the profile of people that buy and drive Buick’s makes a difference here. I’m glad to see Mazda topping the list. I hope more people buy them because of it. I *really* like nearly

Whilst it may be predictable....It’s pretty hard to go wrong with Civic Si

My point was that the brand new 2021 QX55 interior is outdated. I specifically said it would be unacceptable in 2015, let alone now.  To counter my point, you post a picture of a BMW interior from 2015....saying it looks the same. Yeah. We agree. It does look the same and that’s unacceptable on a brand new luxury car.

I don’t see it myself. Say what you want about BMW quality but iDrive is incredibly intuitive for an infotainment system and there are clear, separate buttons for climate etc. There are better interiors in Nissan’s OWN line up - This is the Rogue interior which is much better and Infiniti is supposed to be the Luxe

Disagree. Volvo, BMW, Audi, Mercedes ALL have much better interiors. Lexus aint great, but at least they have reliability and comfort. A Mazda CX5 interior is better than this crap.
