although its definitely not for me - NP. It’s a cheap and cheerful little cabrio for Sunday drives up the coast. I think there is something kinda sad that the K car ‘saved’ Chrysler - to allow them to become the awesome car maker they are today.....making one minivan and full size sedan that’s basically 15 years old

This is also why Subaru should offer a PHEV version of the Outback. EV range for pottering about to work and the city but traditional ICE when you want to engage your ‘active outdoorsy lifestyle’ or whatever.

And they certainly wouldn’t want a 3 year old Jag wagon back to try and sell at any sort of price.

This is such a painfully pretty wagon. I really wish Jaguar would ‘do a BMW’ when it comes to leasing - aka, WAY artificially inflate the RV so the lease price is decent. I know if you worked hard, for months, you could probably get a decent monthly but who has the time. I would very happily lease one of these for

Yeah, I get that. Driving feel is not why people buy these but I would like to know if the CVT is any different or if it still sucks. Some CUV’s are better than others. The CX5 can actually be fun to chuck around a little bit (compared to a RAV4 for example) but even a RAV4 now comes with the option of an engine combo

Uhm. This review doesnt really say much. I know your time was limited and 99.99% of the buyers of these won’t care but how does it actually drive? was the CVT an issue? hows the steering feel? brakes? is there much body roll? is the economy decent? Does the update make upgrades to the interior quality? how does it

Even if this was free, I would be nervous about it. ND. ND. ND. ND. ND!!!

I don’t get it? Design a giant grille and then shove plastic in it. Why? It looks awful, it serves absolutely no purpose. It just makes cleaning it even more difficult. I hate literally everything about this and I really hope BMW fails miserably with this new design language.

Give it 12 months. We’ll see how Acura is doing on the sales of these and then we can judge who is right.

These are all terrible suggestions. The 3-row is tricky. This isn’t particularly exciting, but it is 400hp, huge and meets all the other requirements - a new Explorer ST. I get that the price is insane for an Explorer but it is what it is.

I still don’t really understand the target market for these things. I assumed that M3s were originally bought by tech bro’s or douchebags who made partner in their law firm at 32 - but those people seem to be happy with their EVs.

I’m going to predict poor sales. The segment is dying and Acura is way too far behind to play catch up now. There’s nothing new or exciting here. Design is okay but meh. But, more importantly - 4,000 pounds!? Whaaa, how!? a Model 3 with ALL the batteries etc weighs less. This seems like a total miss for Acura.

This is definitely a good direction. The styling is a bit too Kia Niro for me. It’s kinda bland but I don’t hate it. The main reason I like it is that it may reduce some demand for the RAV4 PHEV which is impossible to buy right now. Giving Tesla some competition is always good.

I love Kia. I *REALLY* wish they would sort out their dealer network though. It’s really awful. I was also all ready to get up in the comments about how we know Kia is smart and they should offer a PHEV as there aren’t really any alternatives in the 3 row PHEV market. We know the smaller RAV4 PHEV has insane levels of

I’m not sure I can really understand what kind of compact this would be size wise? - The Model 3 is already within normal compact sized dimensions - just a tad bigger than a Sentra for example. We we talking Honda Fit/Mazda 2 subcompact instead? At least this time Tesla has some competition with VW snapping at their

No thank you. No plaid seats. Plasticy interior. Abysmal reliability. Sedans *can* be fun...sometimes, with enough power but otherwise just stick to the GTI. It will still be hideously unreliable but it looks better, is more practical day to day and has the slightly better interior. Oh and plaid.

Carvana, and similar companies like Vroom, Shift et are the *best* way, by a long, long way to get out of your leased car. I have a leased ‘18 Highlander that I barely use and have zero emotional connection to (duh, its a Toyota) that Carvana offered me an insane $29k for vs a $26k buyout from Toyota Financial

No. Just no.

I’ve just returned from a LA - Yellowstone - LA roadtrip and in a rented Subaru Outback. I loved every minute of the trip. The fantastic Eyesight system made up for the gutless base engine and CVT. I haven’t driven a car that required preparation for overtaking in quite some time so that was an interesting throwback.
