This annoys me. A lot. I have a lot of love the IS. It’s the sensible man’s 3 series - the person who wants to buy a small, reasonably fast, luxury sedan instead of leasing one. I’m annoyed because this is such a goddamn wasted opportunity. Imagine a gorgeous, fast, well equipped, reliable comfortable sports sedan

Sorry. I like it. They’ve actually improved it! Maaaybe better with a proper paintjob though.

This is a great truck and someone will love this thing but the price is waaaaaay too much. Bit strange to throw so much money into it and only drive it 150 miles. CP.

It’s a thing of wonder and beauty but I imagine it must’ve lived elsewhere at some point. If not I’m astonished this thing has survived 63 hurricane seasons!

I dont want to have to interact with a dealer. But I do need to sit and drive a car before I spend a huge amount of money to buy/lease one. Dilemma. My usual method is to pop down to Carmax, test drive a car as similar to the spec of the vehicle I want (because Carmax is significantly less sales-y pressure in my

The problem with all the Hertz cars is that they’re most often the BASE models with an extra capital B. Even those 7 series don’t come with any extra’s you’d actually want like adaptive cruise. If you just want a base bog standard daily driver or workhorse like the Tundra or Forte, then a Hertz car is a good choice

More emotion needed. I want to know how it actually *feels* to drive. How’s the acceleration? what’s it like throwing through the gears? How and when can you get the most fun out of this $100k oddball? sportscars, actually British sportscars, actually niche British sportscars that almost nobody buys have a character

What is an example of a car with a HUGE grille that actually sells? I can think only of the Lexus RX which sells because it’s one of the only ‘luxury’ SUVs that is actually reliable and bought by old people in gated communities to upgrade every few years because it’s something to do. When was the last time you even

Sorry you’re wrong. US license plates will be considerably smaller than those EU ones which will just make the stupid grill look even worse. The back 3/4 is too high, too fat. It’s Audi A5-esque but not in a good way. The current model, whilst a bit more outdated is at least sleek, low, like a sports car would be.

I’m so conflicted with Lexus. I generally like their external design language, even the hideous grill isn’t too terrible providing you’ve got a front license place to break up the HUGENESS of it all. But their interiors SUCK. Not just a little bit, but MASSIVELY. They’re like a 2009 Prius but with softer leather. Even

re: Neutral. I’m doing okay. Confirmed that i’ll be working form home till September which honestly, is fine with me. I was spending $3-400 a month on gas and parking so that’s all money saved. I have been spending more and more time on Autotrader considering a cheap convertible for summer - we have to find our joys

I absolutely applaud any company still investing in small sports sedans and on paper this thing looks great. However, I just think it’s all a little too late? - I can totally see current Acura owners finally taking the opportunity to upgrade but the way the market is right now, with consumer demand firmly in the

I am/was a frequent renter with Hertz and if I was in the market for a low-spec econo-sedan, Hertz car sales would be my first stop. The cars are all fairly new, the maintenance is completed on schedule or before, they’re clean, tidy and cheap. The vast majority are just driven by business people running into and out

Snooooore. There are good cars in this category - 330i, G70, Stinger etc. No one is buying them

Thanks! but no thanks. I hate it. Next!

fun fact: In 20 years of holding a driving license and owning far too many shitbox cars to list, plus some nice leased ones...I have never in my life changed a wiper blade! And I used to live in both Wales and Vancouver where it’s well known it rains for 366 days a year. Have I just been extremely lucky?

I still don’t understand the reporting on this. If, as stated, Hertz leases all it’s cars, what cars does it have to sell? It doesnt own them? Surely The banks and creditors own them?

Perhaps a better way to put it would have been the total lack of service and consideration for consumers thats have put their faith in the brand and purchased a Hyundai. Their dealer network are notorious for treating their customers and potential customers like total garbage and this story underscores that

I voted NP because it’s quirky and weird and the interior has faded enough to almost match the exterior. Being a man of a certain persuasion, I can totally see myself running errands around a retirement community in Palm Springs in this. Popping up the links for some golf. Getting a blow down at the old Barber shop.  U

re: 2nd Gear. It’s going to be interesting to see how US car sales do after all this. It seems almost anyone in the US that needs a car, gets one. Whether that’s an old Camry, a hand-me-down Accord, an $80k truck or a Kia on a 200 month loan. (hence the 1st gear story) but the reality is, outside of the coasts & Chicag
