They did an odd bit of BL-era naming with the TR7 and TR8.
Sweet :) can't wait
Awww hell yes :)
"the Biturbo wasn't well-engineered until after reliability problems became well-known"
Still holds the torch for the angriest car I've ever heard.
Fiat first, eh?
"Maybe Cadillac needs to stop trying to compare themselves to the Germans in any respect. Maybe they just need to go back to that "Standard of the World" mentality and simply make what they know is great and then let the Germans play catch up."
You should definitely get an account and revolutionise EVE Online military doctrine.
I wonder whether all these gigantic space feuds will settle into something resembling modern international relations.
Sweet :) that's the one I want. Shame about the head gasket, but I'm sure there's fixes for that now. Gasket tech has come on a long way recently.
...I like it.
They're definitely undervalued, but still out of my price range. I'd love an early one to pootle around in on nice days.
"There's nothing special about BMWs. They are a car, and they are hitting a different market, but they're not technologically more advanced than any other car, they have just chosen different compromises and paired them with lever advertising campaigns, just like every other company"
Belgium it is then :) America's a bit far for me
King of Speed is what it was called. Kickass series :)
I reckon something that rally could really benefit from is a set of looser regulations. These would allow pretty much any car to be entered as a rally car, and would be split into 2WD and 4WD categories, with classes based on bhp/ton. If you want, you could have classes based on degree of modification from stock as…
I'd just love to see people come back with a named no-frills performance package (like the Bavaria).
That might not be a bad idea actually, although that's sort of what Lancia is now. Simply restyled (albeit poorly) versions of mainstream cars. Lancia deserves better than that.
Yeah, I'm wary of the Beta as well, but I also have a bit of a blind-spot when it comes to rusty Italians (and Brits) from the 70s and 80s. Rust can be repaired (so long as it's not terminal), dodgy electrics can be fixed, iffy build-quality can be rectified.
