Why didn’t they just build NASA’s F-15 ACTIVE? That would probably be more maneuverable than the F-22 or at least the F-35. Don’t get me wrong, they’re neat and they look cool, and they’re probably fucking great, but they just seem like a waste of taxpayer money when there are cheaper options right in front of us.

The fact of the matter is that the F-22 and F-35 are both tremendous wastes of money. Why not just build a more advanced F-15? They’re dirt cheap, reliable, and proven performers.

Are you talking about the Su-35 or the clearly stealth capable PAK-FA? We don’t know yet what we’re up against as far as the PAK-FA goes.

Great sensors and stealth get thrown out the window when it can’t even maneuver as well as 4th generation fighters.
