That does not sound like a course an average teen will look twice at (most people took math because they had to, not because they wanted to). They need to take a page from colleges and name it something to catch their attention. "How to survive in the real world" would be a good start.

In my Planning class we got told to budget. What we would do on a $5,000 vacation. *eyeroll*

I've never even seen a rental that didn't come with a fridge of some sort, and I've seen "apartment" ads that say you have to share a bathroom with other "apartments". I'm pretty sure not providing a fridge in a rental apartment is illegal here, akin to not having heating or water.

That sounds much worse than the time I was embarrassed because I wore mine insideout for a whole day.

Now you won't ever be able to stop thinking about all those Other Butts on *your* toilet Muahahahaa!

Just like we lowly renters do every day of our lives.

What I gathered from this article is that a little girl was basically told that doing something (removing salinity from their water) would kill her pet fish. So she did that thing, to see if it killed her fish.

He makes the money, I handle the money. When we first moved in together we each had an account but I could see his since that's where everything had to be paid from. Once he got sick of his awful bank we switched to a joint account at my much better bank. Later we switched most of our money to ING and changed work

"Thanks. eggshelljones and Trudy-Campbell can fuck off. They responded to me. I'm responding back. They're bitching at me when they're the ones who started replying to my comment. I'm getting a beer."

I theoretically know the difference between average and median, but I still consider them to mean the exact same thing ;)

The reason it uses local median income is BECAUSE your costs are effected by where you live. Someone making 100k in NYC is not at the same level on the poor-to-rich scale as someone making 100k in a small town in the midwest. Median incomes are (generally but not always) livable wages, so if you're making twice what

It's the easiest way to decide, even if it isn't very scientific. At least it takes into account vicariously the cost of living.

IMO, if you make more than double the average or median income for your area, be that state or city, you're rich. Because that's an easy marker, and it's easy to say, hey, you make twice what most people make so that makes you rich. And if you want to nitpick and use after-tax salary that's fine too, because ok sure

They don't like to, because if it *doesn't* work during a specific hormonal period, they might get denied the right to sell it. So they take the safe route and don't expose it to those fluctuations, because to them it is better to sell a pill that maybe won't work on women than to not sell the pill at all.

    Yeah it's possible.

Yeah, it might have been a fluke since I haven't tested it again, but I can see how hormones could theoretically affect it so it might be the real deal.

Yeah, I tried, that's why I have so many fun stories about doctors who think a modern young lady in a city doesn't know how to sex or how to google how to sex.

Honestly I was at a multi-doctor clinic when I was trying to make a big deal out of it, and saw like, 5 doctors and nobody gave a single fuck. It's been over 3 years and I'm used to it by now, and all the treatments give me the heebie jeebies. Needles? You can't imagine the face I would give to a doctor who suggested

You forgot Properly Lubricated. And implications that your partner has no clue what he is doing down there. And the command to "just get over it" because "you know he'll leave you unless you get over it right away".

In case you have a walk-somewhere-without-your-car emergency in your dress shoes? If you work in nice shoes it would be an idea to have old running shoes in case you need to walk for gas or whatever. If you only wear comfortable shoes you probably don't need backups.
