I’ve heard they originally wanted that section of the game to be more like FFVI’s world of ruin and the whole world would be explorable and there would only be little pockets of humans struggling to survive.

FFXV’s plot is the way it is because the team clearly needed more than 3-ish years.

I suppose I just don’t see what made LoS1 a stellar game. People act like the first game had good level design...it didn’t.

LoS2 is factually a better game.

I was thinking the same thing.

The reason LoS lacks the Castlevania feel is because it’s of the grim fantasy setting.

All the LoS games are medicore.
