The story from what I have gathered over research is that MS originally pitched a Castlevania game to Konami, they got the job but Konami didn’t want it to be Castlevania so it was made as a new IP.

This has got to be about Xenoblade 2...I mean if they are releasing it this year they really should be announcing the release date and details around it now.

It’s still not a great game but I actually managed to enjoy the game enough to have some fun with it which is something I can’t say for LoS1.

You seem very focused on the narrative and story, for me that doesn’t do much if the gameplay is mediocre. (So the fact that Dracula’s presentation in LoS2 is lacking from a narrative point I don’t mind it so much because everything else has been improved. If Dracula was all powerful there would be no game.)

They do make liberal use of blackness but I’ve never really had trouble navigating because of it.
