Apocalypse is much better on a re-watch, separated from my initial expectations. It’s nowhere near as bad as X-3.
Still haven’t seen Origins though so I can’t comment on that.
The Avengers Theme is really the only one I can hum in my head unprompted without looking it up on YouTube.
No better usage of it than here. My theater that opening morning lost their shit.
Here’s a scan of the novelization paragraph.
R.I.P. Great News and (presumably?) Trial and Error.
The second season was a bit of a mess (by the time the last two episodes came on I was pretty much exclusively watching them distracted) but that first season was a burn burner.
I have been meaning to watch that since it first went onto Netflix and had no idea Wigham was in it. Definitely going to move that up to the top of the list now.
I just picked this up over the weekend and lugged the beast to work to start reading on my lunch break. I’m super excited about it but don’t think my shoulders are going to appreciate the textbook weighing it down on the train.
I’m sure all of the new #1 issues will sell like gangbusters!
Brendan Kelly continuing to get any attention to feed his ego is a crime.
Hey don’t forget Blondie Chaplin, there were three Beach Boys on stage!
(Later addition The Punisher also still has a second season supposedly in the works.)

I think my N64 from 1997 juuuuuuuuuuuust crapped out on me last month. It’s devastating.
For awhile back maybe eight or nine years ago Sega made a handful of Dreamcast games (Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure were two that I bought) available for download in the XBox 360 store. I think they were about $10 each.
Ah, it kind of sounded like it might have been Fun Time Square in Alsip from the way you described it.
What was the name of the place?
I’m hoping I can get another viewing of M in before the shut down. It’s been probably ten years since I’ve seen it but the whole thing has stuck pretty tightly in my brain.
I absolutely love that Lee/Buscema Silver Surfer series. I may have “adapted” some lines from issue 10 & 11 into a song for my band and definitely used a panel from one of the issues as a flyer for a show.
It is only slightly behind Ghostbusters as my favorite movie of all time, and honestly. I don’t see that changing very much. I loved all of the celebratory 10 year coverage around it and lapped up about every article I could.
