Really? Goddammit I hate that man.

"I fucking hate having a pick up truck."

Maura Tierney, extremely underrated in the comedy chops and cuteness departments.

John Doe and Exene Cervenka divorced and have soldiered on with X for 25+ years afterward. Of course they stopped writing new music together too (outside of the Knitters and that horrible Hey Zeus! record).

HUB airs it, but I don't get HUB so it's of no help to me.

Oh god, it's about to get worse.

My parents and I would watch all those shows from that era of Nick at Nite too. That pratfall over the ottoman at the start of the Dick Van Dyke Show got me every time.

I love that between MeTV and The Hallmark Channel there is still a solid two and a half hours of Cheers on every night in the Chicagoland area.  They also provide a forum for that much Golden Girls too but you take the good with the bad.

There's a collection of Popeye shorts on Netflix now, but I know what you're saying. I asked some young cousins not too long ago about Looney Tunes and they only vaguely knew about them.  LOONEY TUNES for god's sake.

"The Chair Model," since people have already mentioned "Mafia."

I don't remember if it was linked from here or on What's Alan Watching, but anyone who considers themselves a Cheers or Parks and Recreation fan owes it to themselves to read this interview Mike Schur did about Cheers. It's a little long but completely worth the read.

That was amazing and scarily accurate. Also for as much as I love Community/Dan Harmon that's the first time I've ever bothered to watch anything on Channel 101.

A proto-type for "ME WANT FOOD!"

It starts in the Winter!

I don't know if you heard this or not, but Norm and Vera separated for awhile.  Also, Norm loves beer and Cliff loves trivia.

The first thing I did when I realized Frasier was on instant watch was look up all the episodes where members of the Cheers cast appear.  Unfortunately Netflix is stupid and doesn't have most of them up for some reason, only the one with Sam and Diane; no Woody and no Clavin retirement party.

Someone dress up Chang as Carla STAT.

I remember watching the last year or two with my family as it aired and have always been a fan of it in syndication (though for a few years in Chicago it wasn't on the air it seemed), but yeah, it going on Netflix and me spending three months powering through the whole series run was amazing.  It's aged so well that

Short this month.  Bummer.

I stayed up until 3 AM playing it last night. It's amazing. The map is sooooo huge and there are so many side quests that you can get distracted with… oh man I want to type more but I don't want to spoil anything for you but believe the hype.
