Yesterday was HELL NO! But today, it’s a HECK YEAH!!

Draw a Venn digram of all those things — comfort, safety, FWD, mature, under $15K, reasonable maintenance, Colorado-climate friendly, good road-tripper — and you’ll see this baby right dead set in the middle:

I was really excited about the Buzz because it was a really cool concept. But looking at what they want to bring to the market, most particularly the price point, it’s just really disappointing.

Here’s my take: Whenever this transplant was done it probably made sense — back in 1990 or so somebody wanted a Jensen that was fun to zip around in and be fairly reliable. But then the Miata came out a few years later and with airbags, abs and actual comfort and reliability the charm of old British roadsters was sent

I’ll go NP on this. Looks good, and I'm not getting my knickers in a twist over originality at this price.

I don’t care - totally irrational NP. Shut up!

Max already has “fuck you” money... I mean, “ to heck with you” money

FIA is literally saudi power tripping itself out of a sport lol.

Quitting cause they won’t let him cuss on TV.

Mansory taking offense and criticizing someone else’s choice in vehicle modifications unlocked a new level of unawareness above influencers, so there’s that.

There, the repairs were given a once over by company founder Kourosh Mansory, who took offense to some of Armstrong’s efforts and even pleaded with him to swap out his choice of wheels.

Now if ford can figure out how to keep these pesky immigrants from eating everyone’s pets

You’re readin’ that wrong, son.

This car looks.....too nice for a ‘93 Corsica. It looks like it’s from a show/movie where they had to get the main character a “non descript” car but went too far and now it looks out of place. Get this car for your teenager and their classmates will think they are an undercover cop.

NP buy it for your teenager and enjoy their embarrassment.

I think we need to also point out how much production volumes have ramped since the C8 launch and compared to the C7. Old timers can whine about how the C8 isn’t a real corvette, doesn’t have a manual, the looks are polarizing, whatever. But numbers don’t lie, they built 53,785 C8s in 2023 and they are all selling.

I often wonder between norovirus and the many many other mishaps one hears about cruises (along with the management of said cruises), why anyone would ever choose to take one at all, let alone jettison your whole life for one.

maybe the owner was having deja vu...(eurobeat begins)

To get anywhere close to this price, it should be just about perfect. It’s very, very good, but not perfect. It’s also got a lot of miles left, but where would you DD it without worrying that a brodozer will run over you and not even notice? ND.

pop ups there also
