I know — nitrous is so out of character with the purpose of this car, and the fact that it’s in there speaks volumes of the car’s previous owner(s) and screams that this thing’s been abused. (in case the stickers didn’t already tip you off).

Nah. If I wanted to spring for something this special, I’d prepare to pony up the extra coin for one with a clean title, unpunished engine (nitrous — really?) and properly fettled kit.

If you have the money to buy this and you want one so badly, keep saving your pennies until you can buy one that’s less of a crapshoot. ND.

Extremely wary NP. I’d definitely do my very best to talk the price down after pouring over the car with a fine tooth comb looking for any cut corners. If everything checks out, I’d pull the trigger.

Proof that anything lowered with just a touch of aero could turn a Duck into a Swan.

Cooper S’s aren’t expensive at this point in time. Too much for what is here. The extra $4,000 seems pretty steep for the badging, reskinned seats and wheels.

The issue is that YOU DON’T NEED A RENTAL CAR AT ALL when you have a gas car.

Any progressive administration right now and sure, Id see huge advancements the next four years that the previous four were setting up.  NOW?  The entire movement will be set back decades, at least in this country.  Every other developed nation is going to fly past us.

If I have to rent a car to make long distance drives, like road trips to visit family that live in other states, or going camping in remote areas of southern Utah, I’m not going to buy a low range EV and will keep my ICE car instead.

You’re going to shit your pants when you learn what rental cars are.

As much as I love a good mini-truck, this one just seems sad. It’s got a dorky GT package that hasn’t aged well, a bad paint job, dated brown interior, at least 133K miles, etc. If it was pristine and original it might be worth the price as a minor collectable, but this is neither show car or work vehicle. It’s just

The Trans Am fender vents is the turd on top of this pile of shit. ND.

Drove my Camaro 1LE a few times right at and sometimes below the lower temp limit of the factory tires (40*f) and it was interesting, to say the least.

He made it gold, dude wants to crow over the plebs. He just didn’t count on there being so many of them.

I dunno man, at this point getting the official Tesla attention machine is a pretty tacit endorsement of Musk and his attitudes. He wrapped it in gold. He clearly wants the attention, but he thought it was going to be of the positive ilk. Turns out he was wrong.

Ahhhh yes, buying one of the ugliest and most obnoxious cars, wrapping it in the most obnoxious color possible, then putting a FAT QR code on the back doesn’t make him a huge attention seeker. He’s just upset about the type of attention he’s getting lol suck it up buttercup. Actions and decisions have consequences.

So having a Targa top off is different from having the entire top down. The majority of the cold air when the top is down comes from the back, not the front. I know when I got a windblocker it lowered the ‘comfortable’ temp while driving by about 10 degrees, i.e. I could drive with the top down when it was 10 degrees

In a vacuum? The performance was great. I think part of the issue is that he doesn’t have any songs that mainstream America would even recognize. Usher, Eminem, Rihanna, The Weeknd... hell, even Drake does. Lamar is a master at his craft, but I question him as a halftime show headliner for the Super Bowl.

Good point, had not considered the necessary investment to make it road worthy; have rescued several ‘barn finds’ in recent years, so I expect this one would need $500 - 1000 added to the cost.

The funny thing is. At one time American cars were the best in the world. Quality and technology, surprised the world. It's hard to imagine how this could be allowed to happen.  America got greedy. Cars went from world class to questionable at best. The automakers have had many chances to get it all back. They just
