Exactly, you may see an even bigger drop because you won’t be able to regen much on the track - batteries will already be at the limit heat-wise and won’t be able to absorb any of the energy that they do to help out range in the city.

Why not just keep the power the same, and use a smaller battery module to keep the weight down? Why does every EV need giant power?

Nice Buick Cascada you got there Lotus!

Ah, yes, hail to the prince of darkness - Lucas Electric. /s

I don’t think it was just yours...

I know this question is about what make/model of car should be removed from the history of the entire car market, but I’m going to answer which car I would like to have removed from my history. A certain 1978 MGB similar to the one pictured above. That thing was a complete basket case when we got it, the PO had two

Is there any sports car better than the Chevrolet Corvette C8 I won’t hear any arguments to the contrary

Right?!
Cost of living aside, just look at the tax and regulatory situation. There are pros and cons of living in Texas, just as there are every other state, depending on your taste. From a financial well-being perspective, California is one of the worst places one could try to raise a family.

In true Shilling fashion, the actual reason is a word that doesn’t even appear in the article: TAXES

I work with a lot of tech companies - a LOT of them are making similar moves and have been for the past year or so. These are big operational moves, usually out of California. There’s a lot more to this than I think you’re willing to explore here, and I also find it pretty absurd to wave-away the discussion about cost

There is a difference between a tow point and a recovery point though. Recovery points are rated with a SWL of several times the GVWR of the vehicle.  Tow points may or may not be.

We design all of those Trail Rated elements from the ground up… it’s not just a marketing term.

Well, you see, the owners held their thumbs over the license plates while taking pictures, so they are 100% untraceable.

Deaths, illness or jail.

Thinking about the circumstances that led to these abandoned cars is quite sad. Could be the owners traveled alone and died at their destination with no next of kin to be found.

Looks damn sharp tho

Carmax had one for sale earlier this summer in red. I considered it for a moment, given that it did have the 6MT and had me thinking maybe the RS gave it a turbo 4 or something else to write home about. A quick look at the spec sheet told me to keep looking.

The seller of today’s Nice Price or No Dice 323ci makes it a point to assure potential buyers that the car is “not M3.”

I couldn’t scroll down to NP fast enough.  Manual, 29k?  That engine is as ready to be tuned up as a bride on her wedding night.  You know it’s just a de-tuned 2.5, right?   Let’s get busy.

This is uncomfortably low mileage. Did it sit for years? If so, have all the rubber bits been refreshed? I’m suspicious of what we’re not being told.
