One of my best friends from college, Mr. B, took a job teaching high school after graduation. When I went to visit him, I sat in on one of his classes and met his students. They were great kids. Very cool.

Texas had chances to join the SEC and Pac 12, but opted to stay in the Big 12 and be a big fish in a small(er) pond. Recruiting has suffered as a result, especially now that Texas A&M is now in the SEC.

A great reminder that quantitative assessments (4th down calculator, etc.) of generic probabilities always — ALWAYS — need to be combined with qualitative assessments (talent, situation, etc.) of your specific team.
