I’m late to the party but I hated this episode way more than the first. The Lincoln Tunnel change was inexcusable. The plot hole in the book re why they took the tunnel could easily have been filled by showing that the military tried to blow up the bridges like in I Am Legend.

I’m with you about hating the Lincoln Tunnel change. But what does that scene have to do with the fascist evil of the US government? Are you maybe thinking of when they blow up the bridges in I Am Legend? Because no real justification for taking the tunnel is offered in the book.
