All hail!

The previous record holder ( of this weird record) was the very cool Mercedes C111.

Wow, I tried and completely failed. What on earth is that car? Seems like it could be anything....

Um, well, I don't know what controls you have installed, but I have to use hands and feet to operate cars.

I'm not sure if it's careful tuning to nail the city cycle or the relatively low weight of the vehicles.

But...if you fit well in a car that's a subcompact-which is the exact premise we're working from here-then why would a bigger car be easier, more comfortable or more practical? Or do you think everyone should just drive a minivan? It's the most practical, comfortable and easiest to drive vehicle I can think of.

Frigging live axles will get you every time :-)

Why?

1) Smart cars are awful

I get that a bit while driving Smart cars (Car2Go). I fit in the damn things fine, but I can't see traffic lights when I'm stopped, as the roof goes too low. I'm only 6'2", but I have a long torso (only a 30 inch inseam) and sit high in, well, anything.

They changed the question from yesterday to today. Yesterday was just 'what cars are great for tall people'. This is a more interesting title, although I think it would have been better titled as a list of suggestions for the dude who first asked the question mentioned in the QOTD post yesteday.

Feel free to steal some credit!

Haha, my brother actually had a shop replace his battery...and then tell him they'd never work on a New Beetle again. Apparently when he first showed up, 4 mechanics were standing around the thing with the hood up, trying to figure out how you do it.

Which is 45k, not 135k, for the record.

The immediate reply to that is the already-released i3, which, while not family car cheap nor reasonably priced for what it is (a Chevy Sonic sized Bimmer), is only 45k.

Atlanta wins for passengers overall. Smaller planes thus means MORE planes you have to land. I definitely misread the title, but I'm still more impressed with Atlanta and Beijing. It will be cool to see the Dubai airport complete to 160 mill/year spec.

And they promised and never delivered a follow up! So sad.

Forgot something: Amurica.

By what measure was Heathrow #1? That's Hartsfield Atlanta, folks. Sorry. Atlanta moved 30% more passengers than Heathrow in 2013.
