Haha, wondered about that. Well, Jag did well with its aluminum XJs for the last 10 years; my 2004 XJR only weighs 4000 lbs, and even the new ones are only 4200 lbs. My bigger concern is the differential; please, please Jaguar, include an LSD. My open rear diff is getting tireseome this winter...
100 pounds lighter to get to 2700? Try 500 pounds lighter. No one has weighed a TT in at under 3200 lbs since 2009, when they last offered a FWD model at 2900 lbs.
Er, why? Because it's slower? I mean, waaaaaay more practical and roomy, but it's definitely slower.
Best part is you can even work on discounts for such a basic truck :-)
395 horses, 25k, that's $63/hp
$25k from what I can see, but that's still a bargain-$63 per horsepower (395 hp engine). Still would be thinking about ponying up the extra $1500 for the 8 speed....
Hmm. How do you like this vs a Model S? Seems like a logical comparison.
Exactly. This is a feature, not a bug. The airline sold all of their seats-that's them doing something right!
Your user name stands up-you are right! There are lots of final assembly plants that don't use union labor in North America, so it easy to find cars for sale here that are not union made in that respect, but I was totally wrong in saying many car companies (as a whole) don't use union labour.
You're right! I should have said 'there are entire companies' lineups' that are made without unions. Sorry!
Yes, but their cars assembled in the US are usually done without unions. That's not good enough? I'm sure Tesla sources some parts from union shops too.
Well, a lot of Japanese, Korean and German manufacturing plants in the US are non-union; I don't think Toyota or Honda has a single union plant in North America. I can't say I care-my wife and I both drive union made cars, and I never even consider it when I shop, I have to admit. I just think it's silly to say you…
Really? There are entire car companies that don't use union labour!
And yet, with #3, you show an allowed snow clearing mechanism.
Noooo!
Nolan's back in Buffalo? Awesome!
Wow, he dwarfs the big boy we just adopted-silly us, thinking our 18 lb 'Lenny' was overfed...
