I read Fahrenheit 451 a couple years ago again. Man, how prescient! His wife with the earphones in all the time...It’s almost hard to believe there was a time when that wasn’t true.

I love him and his love for libraries and his crusty refusal to bow to many modern conveniences (like driving, ha!)

He was pretty deaf for a long time, so that may have been what caused his lack of chattiness.
