You know it's a hell of a lot easier to take the blinds down and put them in the bathtub with dish detergent and a couple of inches of hot water. Then you can clean the slats, cords, and everything. Add a little oxy-clean and let them soak for a bit first if they are really grungy. A soft brush helps.
