I’m part of this trend. Since everyone has delivery fees now I order in the app and then go pick it up. saves delivery fee and tipping. And hell if I’ll ever use something like grubhub or Uber Eats beyond when people give me gift cards - the delivery charges are insane.

I remember a similar scam around the regarding Velveeta cheese. Around the holidays a lot of people serve a cheese dip made with Velveeta, and multiple outlets were telling us that Velveeta was going to be out-of-stock. I also remember making a visit to my local Walmart where there was an six foot tall stack of the

Weirdly aggro.

My God you are just being a cunt for no reason at all.

They do. My dad works for Nintendo.

Agreed, if there’s one thing we could do with a shortage of, it’s sugar.

Hello Black Cauldron and the Chronicles of Prydain!

Holy shit you’re right. Journey to Atlantis, too!

The Switch is Nintendo but also everything else is Nintendo. The Council of 90s Moms signed this into law.

This was not a case of caretakers forgetting a baby in a hot car. From the article:

correct, I dont care about everything surrounding it, and everything surrounding it is what they have screwed up and had attention on instead of understanding and managing their actual game - they make decisions about the actual game/gameplay for all this other crap surrounding, which has all been a hilarious failure

I actually went back to TF2 after years of not playing, and forgot how much fun this game is compared to Overwatch. I feel like I am actually doing something!

100% this. Until you have lived with an EV or actually logged your daily miles and counted your trips over 250 miles, then I think it is difficult to reach a conclusion that an EV couldn’t work. Range anxiety is very real, but after owning an EV, you start to realize range is almost never an issue.

Well, to start, I do a lot of road trips throughout the year that are > 700mi in each direction. Technically, I would need 460mi of range just to get from where I am to the closest state line.

It jumped out at me because I don’t play many games on GamePass (I have Ultimate because All Access was the only way I was able to get my first Series X) but I do play online a lot.

At 10 bucks a month, the full Xbox Game Pass on console is a mere dollar extra. It’s hard to imagine why someone would choose not to just spend the extra dollar and get access to a far larger game library that’s abundantly added to every month.
