i liked some of doom patrol but fell off in the second season. just didn't grip me like I hoped it would. It felt almost like a weaker umbrella academy.

James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is actually really good. (have to write it out so people don't mistake it for the other shittier suicide squad) but yeah animation wise DC has been the heavy hitter for a while now...just so long as you don't look at the cars...or planes...or for gotham by gas light the giant set piece

part of how Dave Filoni handles TV shows for star wars is they set up new gtoups of characters to spin off into their own series.

so the problem is not that some movies can and do perform well it’s that on a whole the industry is not. take a look at 2019. NINE $1 BILLION FILMS. last year we had only two $1 billion dollar films. if youncombine inflation (including on ticket prices) we should have already had multiple billion dollar films this

agreed, figured this was axed along with the other fx shows.

so i would say it is less that they are blind and more that they see in different frequencies. all light is just energy at frequencies, some of which we can see and a LOT that we can’t but we can hear. this has pros and cons. for instance if we were able to see the whole spectrum of light we would struggle to actually

my take is that these aliens are not the actual aliens who make the big ships and the like. instead they are bred bioweapons designed to clear and subjugate planets for them to mine resources from.

hard disagree and the physics backs it up. watch any video of a front mounted engine car going off a ledge and what you see is the nose dip so it is falling nose first. compared to an EV or a center engine vehicle where the mass is evenly distributed. this allows an EV when falling to absorb more of the impact in the

In this case that actually isn’t true. The main reason they survived is that all the weight of the vehicle is on the bottom and center mass. it kept the car from tumbling as much as it fell and allowed it to land upright at the bottom.

yeah it really works here so I am pumped!

while I agree that the racist charicatures in 2 are awful I do feel we need to include the bucktoothed asian stereotype from extinction as well because jesus that is even more recent.

it was less Joel Schumaker and more corporate meddling. when Batman Returns was darker it meant a lot of backlash from parents and lower return on toy sales. thus burton was out and campy batman was brought back for batman and robin going even further for the sequel.

wapol is probably going to be the hardest to find an actor for. the dude is shaped so inhumanly that finding anyone that fits that shape is going to be a nightmare.

if it walks like a duck...

The legacy he created was building up the people around himself to allow the defeat of all for one. All might inspired others to do good but refused to let others in because it was “HIS” responsibility as the holder of one for all. ignoring that the core component of one for all is that it is multiple people working

I disagree, I like that there are repercussions and sacrifices and that it doesn't just end with the status quo coming back. Deku completed his objective of creating a legacy to surpass all might and it will be cool to see how the final chapters shape up.

not sure what you are talking about. Andor was a very well received and highly rated show.

yeah the big issue with the boys comics is that at it's core according to the author himself it is pent up frustration and angst at being snubbed by marvel and DC. a lot of it is very shock factor edgeloard stuff that really doesn't work nowadays.

I went the used bolt route a few years back. got the battery replaced and a fresh warranty for $22k before trade in (got $8k in trade for my econo box 2014 soul) this was a couple years before the overhaul to the tax credit but it was worth every penny to get out of the gas game. It was also great as I got to be an

agreed, it sounded a bit off at the start but the longer he spoke in the voice the more I got used to it. add on top of that the different take on the characters and I actually dig it.
