I think it’s pretty clearly better. It’s a crime of passion, compared to the insidious, continuous, often premeditated nature of DV. Similar to the difference between murder-1 and murder-2, IMO. Meh, I kind of disagree. IMO, it’s a bit more like selling your current subpar house and some of the stuff in it (including a reeeeeeally nice home entertainment system you bought with the money you won via that Powerball ticket that was just missing that one FUCKING number, and man, it really hurts to have to give up…
