Not saying that this isn’t a dumb idea BUT unless the laws have changed (and they seem to be evolving quickly), you are required to maintain line of sight of the UAV in flight. So anything that helps a pilot see the thing is a plus. AND it is illegal to shoot a UAV out of the sky.
