Actually, if you watch from inside Tristan’s car in slow-mo his head whips forward pretty violently and his helmet actually hits his chest. Tristan himself said his cracked ribs are from the helmet hitting his chest. Not saying the safety equipment isn’t awesome, it’s just not quite as...easy as it looks.
