GET OUT OF THE HALLS, DAMNIT

A couple o’ things what to check out :

If it follows the novel, you won’t have to worry about them saving society. Getting away, at best.

Given that she’s a trans woman, I disagree with your assessment of the subversive/transgressive aspects (at least in today’s society), but I gotta give you props and respect for the reason (and reasoning) for your disagreement.

So, what was the Bud Light for? (Aside from justifying the song, that is.)

That’s where I went - if “fun to do” is anything like “have some fun with”, I’m expecting him to have Superman to get headshot with kryptonite or something.

I’d disagree, what with my huge sample size of me. I have read and reread Watchmen for YEARS AND YEARS, and I thought the movie was rather well executed - it was a little by-the-numbers, and a little too enamored of Snyder’s specific visual touches, but it worked.

I just started cycling down the numbers, and … wow. Currently starts with 15, and goes up from there. (I’m assuming non-numbered through 14 have been deleted at this point.)

I’m SURPRISED nobody (including the article’s author) had posted this already.

Whoof, not THIS local Micro Center. They’ve been out since the first day. (Mind you, they’ve also appeared to not restock any of the regular Pis either.)

I was just gonna mention that one. I really dug that issue.

I’m trying to work out the scale myself - if one of those on the right is New Orleans, then the binary system at the far left with the thread between the two is Austin and San Antonio?

GlaDOS and Capaldi’s Doctor team up to snark the bad guys into submission.

Least it’s not Orci?

THIS. YES. THIS SO VERY MUCH.

There’s a reason he hasn’t tried already.

Yeah, I don’t think that was Marvel saying “we need this,” but rather North saying “HAW HAW THE SUITS HAVE TO ARGUE LEGAL ISSUES ABOUT SOMEONE WITH PARTIALLY SQUIRREL BLOOD.”

He was a rising star - in Starlog, that he was cast in it was kind of a big deal on both sides of the equation - but yeah, he was still a definite upstart at the time.

Again, I think it’s really worth noting his directing turn on the ‘80s Twilight Zone relaunch, with one of the more acclaimed episodes in “Shatterday”. Adapting Harlan Ellison and getting kudos from the man himself deserves some attention.
